Public Notice of CCNE Accreditation Visit

Invitation for Third-Party Comments

Provo College will host an on-site accreditation visit by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for continuing accreditation of its baccalaureate program on February 3, 4, 5, 2021.

In accordance with its Procedures for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Programs, CCNE provides the opportunity for program constituents (students, faculty, alumni, employers, clinical agencies and the public) and other interested parties to submit, in writing, comments concerning the program’s qualifications for accreditation status. Written third-party comments will be received by CCNE until 21 days before the scheduled on-site evaluation – January 13, 2021.

You are invited to share your comments regarding the Provo College Bachelor of Science and RN-to-BSN programs to CCNE by January 13, 2021. CCNE shares third-party comments only with the evaluation team. At no time during the review process are these comments shared with the hosting program. However, all compliance concerns related to the accreditation standards will be identified in the accreditation report, and the program will have an opportunity to respond to those concerns as part of its response to that report.
