The Physical Therapist Assistant Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Graduates are eligible and encouraged to take the National Licensing Examination. Most states require licensing in order to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and candidates should contact the licensing organization in the state of their choice to inquire about licensing requirements. Presently, Utah requires only that the student graduate from an APTA accredited program.
