GRAPHIC DESIGN - Associate of Science Degree

Do you love to use the latest tools and technology? Would you like to start a career based on your creativity and your talent for design? Provo College's accredited Graphic Design program gives you the education you need to begin your design career with confidence. With the average graduation time of only 18-20 months, you'll quickly get out of the classroom and into an in-demand career.

The U.S. Department of Labor projects that Graphic Designers will be among the fastest growing careers through 2016, with a projected need for 286,000 new jobs over the next eight years. (U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2007).

Graphic Design graduates are trained in:

  • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and QuarkXPress
  • Basic design principles such as typography, illustration, and color theory
  • Art direction, production, and studio techniques
  • Web page design and animation

All entering graphic design students will receive an Apple laptop that can be used throughout the program and kept upon graduation.
